A journey into the depths of myself

The author invites you to join him in his precipitous fall into nothingness. Panic attacks, stabbing chest pains, migraines, dizziness, vertigo, nausea, internalized apocalyptic scenarios, generalized anxiety, extreme hypersensitivity and intense fatigue filled his days and nights. As soon as he thought about work, he inevitably sank into the abysmal darkness that paralyzed him. How could he recover after so much suffering?

The answer begins with gentleness. He had to accept fragility as a familiar landscape, name each pain, give it weight and a name. Breathe slowly, put one foot in front of the other, consult, delegate, establish small routines that can brighten the horizon, like walking at dawn, writing without judgment, shared silence.

Human support transforms isolation into anchoring. Therapy and kindness offer tools to unfold everyday life. Getting back up is not done in one go, but in a series of micro-victories. Each breath regained is a victory. Each smile returned is a step forward. Little by little, the night recedes. Fear loses its intensity. Hope does not take away the pain, but rather accompanies it. Then it reaches out a hand and the author learns to walk again.
